Billie Jo Nix

Jo Nix, 69, passed away Thursday, July 29, 2010. Graveside: 10 a.m. Saturday at Memory Gardens of the Valley. Visitation: 6 to 8 pm Friday at White's. Billie Jo Nix was born Sept. 14, 1940, the daughter of Rudolph and Minnie Wilhite in Ridgway. Mrs. Nix was a longtime resident of Weatherford and formerly of Fort Worth. She was a very loving and devoted wife and mother. Her grandchildren were the light of her life. Mrs. Nix really enjoyed decorating her home, sewing and gardening. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister. Survivors: Husband of 54 years, W.R. Nix of Weatherford; son, Ricky Nix of Weatherford; daughter, Sheryle Nix and husband, Jim, of Decatur; grandchildren, Chris Smith and wife, Christie, of Saginaw, and Kyle Nix of Weatherford; brother, Sonny Wilhite; and sisters, Anne Stengal and Jerry Pollard.
