He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. from 1958 to 1962. Sonny had a career in sales before he became a trucker in 1980. He was a caring and loving person who always had a helping hand and a kind word to offer everyone he met.Survivors: Beloved wife of 41 years, Bonita Graham Allen of Fort Worth; grandson, Chad Evan Allen of Garland; sister, Kattie White of Midland; brother, Mickey Allen and wife, Nancy, of Grand Prairie; numerous nieces and nephews and his adopted Weaver brothers and sisters.
