Melba Oretta Shows

Melba Shows, 89, passed away Sunday, August 8, 2010. Graveside services: 10:30 am Friday at Memory Gardens of the Valley. Melba was born January 15, 1921. She was a long-time resident of Weatherford. Mrs. Shows was an avid gardner and loved to read. Her family and pets were the love of her life. Melba is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wesley; four sisters; two brothers; and one grandson. Survivors include son, David Kim Shows; daughter, Saundra Kay Brown; brother, Clifford Cartwright and wife, Claudine; granddaugher, Rennee; three great-granddaughters; and several nieces and nephews.
