He graduated from Springtown High School where he was an all-star basketball player, then he attended Weatherford College for two years. On November 4, 1955, Wilburn married the love of his life, Melba Oxford, and they began their life together.Wilburn was an avid hunter, and a member of the Masonic Lodge. He honorably served his country in the United States Army from 1957 to 1959. Wilburn was employed by Lockheed-Martin for 30 years.Survivors: beloved wife of 55 years, Melba Oxford Coleman; one son, Mark Alan Coleman and wife, Kristy; grandson, Rusty; granddaughter, Mishelle Hatton and husband, Duke; and most of all a great-grandson, Jaxon; several cousins; sister-in-law, Mollie Jennings; niece, Donna; nephew, Jim; and many wonderful friends and loved ones.
