WEATHERFORD -- Vic Ferrara, 77, a precious, gentle soul, passed away Saturday, Sept. 4, 2010, in Weatherford. Funeral: 2 p.m. Wednesday at Shady Grove Baptist Church, 2470 West Lambert Road, Weatherford. Burial: Peaster Cemetery. Visitation: 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at White's Funeral Home, 130 Houston Avenue, Weatherford. Ludavico Guilo "Vic" Ferrara was born May 3, 1933, in Staten Island, N.Y., son of the late Alphonso and Gosephina Wistella Ferrara. Vic married the former Donna Jean Davis on May 15, 1953, in Wichita Falls, and they began their life together. He was a very talented artist and liked to play the stock market. Vic and Donna loved to take cruises and went on many in different parts of the world. Vic was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church. He honorably served his country in the United States Air Force and was discharged after four years of service. Vic was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers. Survivors: Wife of 57 years, Donna Ferrara, of Weatherford; son, Dr. Craig Ferrara and wife, Brandy, of Benbrook; granddaughter, Isabel; and twin grandchildren, Christian and Ava; nieces, Merle Ferrara, Maureen Gundecker and husband, Dennis, Tammy Bailey; Jill Davis; nephews, Russ Davis and Johnny Jewusiak and wife, Cindy; great nieces and nephews, Jessica Davis, Zachary Davis, and Jacob Jewusiak; brothers-in-law, Max Davis and wife, Joy, and John Jewusiak; and a host of loving family and friends.
