Dorothy Scheets, 81, passed away Sunday, September 19, 2010 in a Fort Worth hospital. Funeral Service: 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, September 22 in White's Azle Chapel. Interment: Azleland Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 P.M. Tuesday at White's Azle Funeral Home. Dorothy was born September 11, 1929 in Henderson County to Jimmy and Bulah Bale Voyles. She was a member of Briar First Baptist Church. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George Scheets and daughter, Doris Curtis. Survivors: daughter, Brenda Benson and husband, Duane of Godley, Sue Cooke and husband, Gordon of Fort Worth and Holly Scheets of Arlington; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and sister, Mamie Dixon of Calif.
