Wayne T. Richards

Wayne T. Richards, 82, passed away, Sunday, September 26 in Big Spring. Services: 10:00 Thursday, September 30, at White's Chapel of Memories, Weatherford. Interment: Memory Gardens of the Valley, West Hwy 80 in Weatherford. Wayne was born to Louis and Janie Richards on February 28, 1928 in Vera, TX. He was a member of Mission Dorado Baptist Church in Odessa. Wayne was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in Japan. He lived in Andrews for over 25 years working in the oilfields and owner of Wayne's Spooling and Cable Repair Service. Wayne was preceded in death by his brothers, Herbert, Bill, Dick, Hewlon, and Earl; and a son, Brian Louis. Survivors: wife, Janice of Midland; sons, Rodney of Jacksonville, FL. and Tim Tramel and wife, Leeann of Seminole; daughters, Cynthia of Ft. Collins, CO., Ronda Tuttle and husband, Bobby of Seguin, Jena Dickerson and husband Dickie of Gardendale; six grandsons, Rockney, Dustin, and Josh Richards, Ryan Alexander, Cade and Landon Conatser; three granddaughters, Jordan Richards, Lindsey Keester, and Linsey Tramel; four great grandsons and five great granddaughters; and sister, Maxine Welch.
