Mary Linda Blackstock

Mary Linda Blackstock, 61, a long time resident of Peaster, passed away Tuesday, September 28, 2010. Services: 2:00 pm, Friday, October 1, 2010 at The Church in Peaster. Interment following the service at Peaster Cemetery. Visitation: 6-8 pm, Thursday at White's Funeral Home. Mary was a loving and caring wife, mother and friend. She was a prominent local business woman who sat on the board of Child Protective Services. She worked in the oil and gas industry, a successful real estate investor, owner/operator of It's Your World Travel and a partner in the 3L ranch operations. Her passion was people and a purpose driven life. Her faith and daily toil exemplified a wife as described in Proverbs 31. She was always responsive to the needs of others.
