Irene Iona Miller

Irene Miller, 88, a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother passed away peacefully October 7, 2010 in Azle.Funeral Service: 10:00 A.M. Monday, Oct. 11 at The First United Methodist Church in Azle. Interment: Azleland Memorial Park. Visitation: 3 to 5 P.M. Sunday at White's Azle Funeral Home.Irene was born August 26, 1922 in Oklahoma to Ed and Reba Cothran Harris. She was a faithful member of the First United Methodist Church for many years and very active in the annual Lord's Acre. Irene was the matriarch of a five generation family. She dearly loved being with her family and friends.Irene was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, A. D. Miller.Survivors: daughter, Peggy Huddleston and husband, Stan of Three Rivers, Calif.; granddaughter, Shelley Tubbs and husband, Wes of Azle; grandson, Jack Mosley and wife, Kimberlee of Whitney; she had eight great-grandchilden, Joshua George and wife, Candace, Jacob George and wife, Lauren all of Azle, Brittany, Chelsea and William Cole Mosley of Commerce; Wesley Tubbs and wife, Bathany of Little Elm, Taylor Tubbs and wife, Chelsea of Azle, Daniel Tubbs of Fort Worth; the fifth generation consist of four great-great-grandchildren, Payton George of Azle, Triston and Lacy Paige George of Azle and Collin Tubbs of Little Elm.
