Michael H. Spurlock, 60, passed away Sunday, Oct. 31, 2010, in Mineral Wells. Graveside service: 12:45 p.m. Friday in Dallas-Fort Worth NationalCemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas. Visitation: 8 a.m.to 4 p.m. Thursday at White's Funeral Home, 101 N.E. 4th Avenue,Mineral Wells. Michael Spurlock was born Nov. 1, 1949, in Mineral Wells, son ofHarold T. and Dorothy C. Putman Spurlock. He was a lifetimeresident of Mineral Wells and had a great interest in rodeos, thewild west and camping. Mr. Spurlock honorably served his country inVietnam and would have wanted to acknowledge his fellow veteransand the VFW. Michael was preceded in death by his father and a brother. Survivors: Wife, Polly Spurlock of Mineral Wells; mother, CoozSpurlock; sons, John Spurlock and Brandon Williamson; daughters,Raina Williamson, Cheri Sample; children Chris Duchene, JesseStevens, and Trena Coffee; 12 grandchildren; one great-grandchild;brothers, Allen Spurlock and wife, June, of Mineral Wells, SamSpurlock and wife, Becky, of Olney, and Tom Spurlock of Perrin; anda host of loving family and friends.
