Clara Ella Russell

Clara Ella Russell, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend passed away peacefully Thursday, November 4, 2010 with her family at her side. Clara was born November 16, 1919 in Junction, Texas to Charles William and Ella Olla Fuchs. Clara grew up on a ranch in the hill country of Texas with her brothers and sisters. She married the love of her life, Billy Russell on April 3rd, 1943. While their time together was too short, the love that they shared together endured with her till the end.Clara was preceded in death by her parents, beloved husband Billy Russell, daughter Shirley Copeland, brothers Osburn Fox, Charlie Fox, Frank Fox, sisters, Mabel Cochran, Odean Allison, and Mary Ellen Grainger. Survived by her children Clarene Gullahorn, Kenneth Piercy, and John Piercy, brother Robert Fox, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and many other family and friends who were blessed to have known her.Clara loved the Lord and lived her life as a child of God. She was a member of Fullness in Christ Church in Fort Worth. A grandmother to all, she was much loved by their members. Through her belief in Christ, she shared the promise of Christ's everlasting love to all she met.Visitation Tuesday, November 9th, 2010 from 5-7 pm White's Funeral Home, Azle. Memorial Service Wednesday, November 10th, 2010 at 1 pm Azle Christian Church. Interment will follow directly afterward at Azle Cemetery.Pallbearers: Chris Piercy, Brandon Piercy, Eddie Griggs, Dustin Griggs, Steve Dunaway, and Mark Hiles.
