Nora Etta Moore Satchell

MINERAL WELLS -- Nora Etta Satchell, 79, known as "Muffer" to her grandchildren, passed away Monday, Nov. 22, 2010, at her home in Mineral Wells. Graveside service: 10 a.m. Saturday in Woodland Park Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at White's Funeral Home, 101 N.E. 4th Ave., Mineral Wells. Memorials: In lieu of usual remembrances, the Satchell family requests contributions in Nora's name to the National Kidney Foundation, Inc., 30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016. Nora Etta Satchell was born May 5, 1931, in Krum, daughter of the late J.C. and Olive Mae Collings Moore. She married William Edwards Satchell on Aug. 1, 1951, and they began their life together. Nora was very family oriented and loved to cook and read. She was also a big fan of geneaology. Nora graduated with the class of 1949 from Forest Avenue High School in Dallas. Nora was preceded in death by her daughter, Heidi Satchell in June; and her parents. Survivors: Husband, Bill Satchell of Mineral Wells; daughter, Susan Satchell of Mineral Wells; son, William Satchell Jr. and wife, Belinda, of Allen; grandsons, Alan Satchell and Joshua Satchell; granddaughter, Elizabeth Satchell; sister, Jeanette Langton of Enid, Okla.; and a host of loving family and friends.
