SPRINGTOWN -- Nella "Jo" Record, 80, a lifelong resident of Parker County, passed away Saturday, Nov. 27, 2010, surrounded by family in Fort Worth. Funeral: 3 p.m. Wednesday at White's Funeral Home, 401 North Main St., Springtown. Interment: Springtown Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Nella Jo Record was born March 23, 1930, in Parker County, daughter of the late Paul R. and Ruby A. Ellis Bradshaw. Jo graduated from Springtown High School with the class of 1948 and made her career as a meat wrapper for Safeway and A&P grocery stores. She married Dan C. Record in Fort Worth on Feb. 17, 1951, and they began their life together. Jo spent many loving hours with her favorite hobby, embroidery and sewing. Jo was a member of Midway Church of Christ. Jo was preceded in death by her husband, Dan Record; great-grandson, Nathaniel Moore; and her parents. Survivors: Daughters, Evelyn Smith and husband, Steve, of Fort Worth and Brenda Gil of Springtown; granddaughters, Stephanie Cruson and husband, Chad, of Fort Worth, Angie Moore and husband, Casey, of Keller and Lauren Smith of Fort Worth; great-grandchildren, Emily, Abby and Katy Cruson, and Gabriel and Gavin Moore; sisters, Imogene Hart of Meridian, Eula Faye Speck of Springtown and Quinca Adams and husband, Buster, of Weatherford; brother, Clyde Bradshaw and wife, Wanda, of Springtown; caregiver and dear friend, Helen Robertson of Springtown; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of loving family and friends.
