Donald Dwayne Taylor

Don Taylor, 73, passed away Monday, Dec. 6, 2010, in Azle. Graveside service: 2 p.m. Thursday in Goshen Cemetery, Goshen Road and Agnes Circle, Springtown. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at White's Funeral Home, 401 N. Main St., Springtown. Donald Dwayne Taylor was born Sept. 19, 1937, in Meridian, son of the late John Henry and Vera Aline Ramsey Taylor. He loved to travel and lived in Guatemala six months of the year. Don loved to play golf, sail and even had his pilot's license. He owned a full-service Texaco station in Lake Worth for several years and retired from Lockheed Martin after 25 dedicated years of service. He was a serious man -- serious about having fun. Survivors: Daughters, Denise Taylor and Paula Lunsford and husband, Leon; grandchildren, Stephanie Garrett, Mallory Lunsford and Michael Lunsford; dear friend and mother of his children, Martha Taylor, all of Springtown; brothers, Vernon, Ray and Jerry Taylor, all of Horseshoe Bend; sister, Teresea Adcock of Fort Worth; special nephew, Mike Earley of Horseshoe Bend; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other loving family and friends.White's Funeral HomeSpringtown, 817-523-7211
