Dearl Archey, 80 years old, went to be with his Heavenly Father Friday, December 31, 2010. Funeral: 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 5 at St. Stephen's Catholic Church. Interment: Annetta Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at White's Funeral Home in Weatherford with Rosary: 7:00 p.m. Dearl Archey was born February 6, 1930 the son of Claude and Adaline Archey in Seminole, Okla. Mr. Archey graduated high school in California and attended Poly Technical College in Fort Worth. He retired as Master Sergeant after 24 years of service with the US Air Force. He married the former Peggy Bridges and they enjoyed over 38 years together. Dearl was owner and operator of Archey's Air Conditioning and Heating and owner and builder of Rolling Hills Mobile and R.V. Park in Granbury for over 20 years. Archey and Peggy enjoyed traveling and spending time with friends and family. Dearl loved fishing and golfing. He was a loving husband, father, brother and grandfather. Dearl was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters and two brothers. Survivors include wife, Peggy Archey; son, Derek Archey, sister, Pat Elliott; grandchildren, Dena, Joey, Amy, BJ, Zac, Bradley; 11 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and a host of loving friends and family.
