Roxie Bernice Duke

Arlington - Roxie Bernice Duke, 93, passed away Monday, January 10, 2011 in Arlington.Services: Graveside service 11:30 a.m. Friday, January 14, at Greenwood Cemetery of Weatherford. Bernice was born in Santo, Texas, to J. E. and Roxie Lee Bankhead. Bernice was a graduate of the University of North Texas at Denton. She and her family lived in Levelland, Andrews and then Brownfield, Texas, where she taught English for many years. Bernice later moved to Mineral Wells where she resided for several years before moving to Arlington, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jack Fulgham, and then Edward Duke. Bernice's sister and brother also preceded her in death. Survivors: Son Jim Fulgham and wife, Jeanene, of Arlington, Grandaughter Beth and husband, Alex Long of Fort Worth as well as various nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
