CHICO -- Harold Lloyd Rose, 64, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2011, at his home. Graveside service: 2 p.m. Friday in Poolville Cemetery. Visitation: 10 a.m. to noon Friday at White's Funeral Home, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford. Harold Lloyd Rose was born Sept. 16, 1946, in Weatherford, son of the late Earnest Dee and Ida Alene Green Rose. Harold loved his children and late wife, Lorenia Jan, and spending time with them was his greatest joy. His hobby was fishing with his best friend, Carl Long, and being outdoors. Harold and Jan loved to dance, especially the boogie woogie and country and western. Harold honorably served his country during the late 1960s in the United States Navy. Harold was preceded in death by his wife, Lorenia Jan Rose; his parents; a brother, Lonnie Wayne Rose; and a sister, Opal Irene Rose. Survivors: Daughter, Lisa La Freniere and husband, Gary; son, Harold Rose Jr. and wife, Julie; daughters, Rhonda and Laura Rose, all of Corsicana, Teresa Rose; sons, Dino Rose both of Chico, and Rocky Rose and wife, Crystal, of Springtown; 14 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; brother, Earnest Leon Rose of Chico; sisters, Shirley Kerley of Poolville, and Nancy Rose Bouchard and husband, Arthur, of Rendon; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of loving family and friends.
