Minnie Melugin, 95, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother, went to be with her Lord and Saviour, Sunday, February 6, 2011 at a local nursing home.Funeral Service: 10 a.m. Friday, February 11, 2011 at White's Funeral Home, 401 N. Main St., SpringtownInterment: Annis Chapel CemeteryVisitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral homeMinnie was born January 21, 1916 to Zelma and William Laymance in Athens. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Springtown and a former member of Walnut Creek Baptist Church. Minnie was a member of the Azle Senior Center's Humdinger Band.She was preceded in death by her husbands, Edgar Bivens, Thurman Williams and Arno Melugin; daughter, Elsie Lunsford; son, Jerry Clayton; three brothers; three sisters.Survivors: Son, Harold Wayne Clayton, of Fort Worth; daughter, Billie Haynes, of Boyd; nine grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren.
