Rickey Don Weaver

Rickey Don Weaver, 63, passed away Friday, February 11, 2011 in Fort Worth after a year long battle with cancer. Funeral Service: 11:00 A.M. Thursday, Feb 17 at White's Azle Chapel. Interment: Ash Creek Cemetery. Visitation: 9:00 to 11:00 A.M. Thursday before the service. Memorials: Donations may be made in Rickey's name to your favorite charity. Rickey was born May 19, 1947 in Wichita, Kansas to Travis and Violet Weaver. He was employed with MHMR of Tarrant County at Pine Street Rehabilitation Unit Addiction Services. Rickey was a former race horse trainer and rode the rodeo circuit from 1964-1979. He was an artist and loved Colorado. Rickey was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Donna Weaver Jan 23, 2011. Survivors: sister, Cinda Alloway and husband, Tony; stepdaughter, Bonnie Cochran and husband Jeremy; stepsons, Jason and Jeremy Aaron; step-grandson, Logan Cochran; also aunts, cousins and many friends.
