Janice S. Thompson, 70, passed away Sunday, February 13, 2011, at a local hospital. Funeral: 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 16th at South Side Church of Christ. Interment: Memory Gardens of the Valley. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at White's Funeral Home, 101 N. E. 4th Ave., Mineral Wells. Janice was born April 15, 1940, in Snowflake, Arizona. She had lived in this area for 35 years. Janice was a member of South Side Church of Christ in Mineral Wells. She lived her life to please God. Janice was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and her desire was for everyone to know Jesus. She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Jim Thompson. Survivors: children, Cindy Clark and husband, Freddy, of Weatherford, Wanda Gresham and husband, David, of Weatherford and Scott Thompson and wife, Tracey, of Burleson; grandchildren, Randy, Christi, Jesse, Darren, Clint, Lauren, Dani, Brayden and Kaylen; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Martha Thompson; brother-in-law, Jack Thompson; nieces, Holly Collins and Rhonda Boaz; and many loving church members and friends.
