Billy Gene Wigginton

Billy "Bill" Gene Wigginton, 82, passed away Thursday, February 24, 2011 in Mineral Wells with his loving family by his side. Memorial Service: 11:00 A.M. Monday, February 28 at White's Funeral Home in Mineral Wells. Billy was born May 28, 1928 in San Angelo to Gaston and Rolye Davis Wigginton. He was a longtime resident of Mineral Wells. Billy graduated from Mineral Wells High School in 1946. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service in 1986. Billy loved to read, spend time with his family and gardening. Billy was preceded in death by his wife, Jackie Joyce Bruton Wigginton in 1973; his father, Gaston "Red" Wigginton in 1964; and his mother, Rolye Davis in 1948. Survivors: wife, Ruby Bottorff Wigginton of Mineral Wells; son, Donnie Wigginton, and wife, Serena; granddaughter, Dione Wigginton Duppstadt and husband, Ed of Grand Prairie; great-grandson, Drake Duppstadt of Grand Prairie; stepchildren, Doris Alton, Rick Bottorff and Ed Bottorff; eight step-grandchildren; and 14 step-great-grandchildren and a host of loving family and friends.
