Patrica Ann Bertrand

SPRINGTOWN -- Patricia Ann Bertrand beloved mother, grandmother,78, passed away Saturday, March 5, 2011 at a local hospital. Patricia was born August 19, 1932 in Amarillo to Milton "Pete" Filmore and Mettje Marie Middaugh Brown. Patricia was a Baptist and attended Los Angeles City College. Patricia honorably served her country in the U. S. Navy. She was an avid tennis player, doll collector and Texas Rangers baseball fan. Patricia was one of the first women Machinest in the late 60's at Luxfer USA Limited. Later in her career she was promoted to Divisional Inspector. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Bertrand; sister, Betty "Biddie" Leckemby. In lieu of flowers, all donations may be made in her memory to Texas Health Harris North West Hospital, 108 Denver Trail, Azle,70620. Survivors: daughter, Carol Stephens; sons, Michael and wife, Karen Mantz, Peter Mantz, Paul and wife, Karoline Mantz; grand-children, Patricia Wilber, Valarie "Nikki" Mantz, Kristin Mantz, Kaitlin Mantz, Travis Weir, Amy Glass, Summer Mantz, Dylan Mantz; other loved one's: "Buffy", Kyle, Savanna, Amanda, Raina, Dawn, Katrina, Warren Jr, Warren III, Danny, Derrick, Bonnie, Stephen, Jeramiah, Natalie, Amy, Nicholas, Stevie and Sonny.
