Betty Sue Cox

Betty Sue Cox, 80, a loving mother and grandmother, passed away Monday, March 14, 2011. Graveside Service: 11 a.m., Wednesday, East Greenwood Cemetery. Betty was born March 2, 1931 in Hot Springs, Arkansas the daughter of Jim and Laura Hood. She had been a resident of Weatherford for 30 years. Betty worked for The Carnation Company in Fort Worth and also Prontos in Weatherford. She was preceded in death by her husband, Travis Leonard Cox in 1996; children, Jimmy Cox and Carolyn Cox; and brothers, Marvin and Travis Hood. Survivors include, sons, Kenneth Leonard Cox and Larry Logan Cox and wife, Barbara, all of Weatherford; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
