Lon Gene Pitts

Lon Gene Pitts, 70, passed away Friday, March 18, 2011. Memorial service: 11 a.m. Thursday at White's Funeral Chapel in Springtown. Gene was born Dec. 14, 1940, in Burleson. He was a honest, hard-working family man who always put others first. Gene was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria; father, R.L. Pitts; and a niece Cathy Rhody; Survivors: Sons, David Pitts of Watauga, Gregory Pitts of Hurst and Randall Pitts and wife, Deanna, of Justin; mother, Irene Pitts of Venus; brother, Raymond Pitts and wife, Debbie, of Rainbow; sister, Geneva Doke and husband, Steve, of Arlington; and stepdaughter, Pat Collins of Hurst.
