SPRINGTOWN -- Barbara Ann Taggart, 65, passed away Friday, March 18, 2011, at home with her loving family by her side. Graveside service: 2 p.m. Wednesday in Goshen Cemetery, Goshen Road and Agnes Circle. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at White's Funeral Home, 401 N. Main St., Springtown. Memorials: In lieu of usual remembrances, the Taggart family suggests contributions in honor of Barbara's granddaughter, Rebekah, to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 6931 Arlington Road, 2nd floor, Bethesda, Maryland 20814. Barbara was born Dec. 4, 1945, in Tulsa, Okla., the second of six children to the late Jack and Gladys Nicey Fell Howard. She married the late Robert F. Taggart on May 1, 1988, in Springtown, and they shared many happy years together. Barbara loved gardening, bird watching, and enjoyed cooking. She was the greatest Mimi in the world to her grandchildren and they were her greatest hobby. Spending time reading the Bible was also one of Barbara's loves in addition to volunteering at Neighbor to Neighbors. She could always be counted upon to offer assistance to those less fortunate. Barbara's family would like to extend a heartfelt and special thank you to Rick and Jeanie Morrison. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Taggart in 2002; her parents; and niece, Gabrielle Tibbs in 2006. Survivors: Children, James David Howard and wife, JoAnna, of Gilmer, Rebecca L. Young and husband, John Sr., of Springtown, John Aaron Bullin and wife, Katie, of Saginaw, and Kevin Duane Bullin of Springtown; grandchildren, Hunter, Mitchell, Libby, Rusty, Johnny, Robert, James and Rebekah; great-grandchildren, Aaron, Auston, Joel, and Kaylynn; brothers, Johnnie, Jack, Roger and David Howard; sister, Danna Thornton; special friends, Cindy Hall and Jean Ford; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of loving family and friends.
