Marguerite Mitchell

Marguerite Clark Mitchell, 96, passed away peacefully Saturday, March 19, 2011 in Azle.Per her wishes no service will be held.Marguerite was born the third child of Laverne and Myrtle Hopkins Clark on December 16, 1914 in Chicago, Illinois. She had just celebrated her 96th birthday. Marguerite was a member of the Sunvalley Methodist Church of 40 years and was a tireless volunteer for her church. Marnie was a great cook and made wonderful cookies. She was always a sweet laughing lady. All that knew her felt her happiness and joy. Marguerite's sweet spirit will be greatly missed. After her cremation she will rest next to her husband, Roy in Sun City Arizona.She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Roy Clark and Robert Clark; sisters, Francis Jones and Kathleen Kelly.Survivors: nieces, Madeline Skinner, Beatrice Minner and Roberta Gould; nephews, Jeff Clark, Russell Jones and wife, Betty; sister-in-law, Alice Clark; special people in her life were Sidney Burton and wife, Carrie and her neighbors; great-nieces, Tracy Stoff, Jode Drzewiecki ; and great-nephew, Gary Jones.
