SPRINGTOWN -- Jackie Donald Cole, 65, passed away Sunday, March 20, 2011 at a local hospital. Funeral 2.p.m. Thursday at White's Funeral Home Chapel. 401 N. Main Street., Springtown. Visitation: before the service 12:30 p.m. until 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Jackie was born August 9, 1945 in Paris to Drury Jackson and Vera Burchinal Cole. He was a retired police officer of 31 years. Jackie served his country honorably in the United States Navy. Jackie was preceded in death by son, Jackie Donald (Donnie) Cole II; mother, Vera (Honey Bun) Cole and his father, Drury Jackson Cole. Survivors: wife, Connie Cole of Springtown; daughter, Constance and spouse, Jo Siegel of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Channah, Asher, Matthew, Seth, Hadassah and Chavah Trinkman; great-grandchild, Daniel Ruehle; sister, Joretta Lanier and husband, Bill of Azle; brother, Johnny Cole of Springtown; numerous sisters and brother-in-law; many nieces and nephews.
