SPRINGTOWN -- Trina Gray Smith, 49, passed away Saturday, March 26, 2011, in Fort Worth. Funeral: 2 p.m. Wednesday in White's Funeral Chapel, 401 N. Main St., Springtown. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials: In lieu of usual remembrances, the Smith family suggests contributions to a fund established for the well-being of Trina's children and grandchildren at EECU Credit Union, 1617 West 7th Street, Box 1777, Fort Worth, Texas 76107-1777. Trina Marie Smith was born Nov. 15, 1961, in Fort Worth, the daughter of Raymond W. and Wilma L. Kennedy Smith. She loved to be outdoors and her hobbies included working on cars, swimming, hunting, fishing, camping and especially riding her horse. In fact, she could be seen riding into Springtown to eat at Sonic or Taco Casa. Trina's family said that she was very stubborn; however, she also had a very big heart and would do anything to help anybody, especially those less fortunate. Trina was preceded in death by a son, Chase Chas Gray, in 1989. Survivors: Son, Justin Smith; daughter, Christina Gray, both of Springtown; grandchildren, Brody Smith, Brayden Martin and Taylor Blair; parents, Raymond and Wilma Smith of Springtown; sisters, Cynthia Harnsberger and husband, Terry, of Ringling, Okla., Kay Wilson and husband, Kenny, of Springtown and Melinda Black and husband, Rodney, of Fort Worth; numerous nieces and nephews; special friend, Bridgett Witt of Fort Worth; and a host of other loving family and friends.
