John Wayne Winford, 75, passed away peacfully with his family by his side March 29, 2011 in Weatherford. Funeral Service: 10:00 A.M. Friday, April 1st at White's Azle Funeral Chapel. Interment: Ash Creek Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 P.M. Thursday at White's Azle Funeral Home.Wayne was born March 9, 1936 in Clinton Okla. to John McGee and Marguerete Wright Winford.He retired from HEB ISD and was a longtime member of Western Wheeler Camping Club. Wayne recently became a member of Normandale Baptist Church after being a longtime member of North Euless Baptist Church. Wayne was preceded in death by his parents; and son, Barry Keith Winford.Survivors: Wife, Leta Lacy Winford; daughter, Karen Winford Hendrix and husband, David; daughter-in-law, Deborah Winford; grandchildren, Becky Winford Davis and husband, Mike, Garrett Winford, Paul Hendrix and Jordan Hendrix; and great- granddaughters, Shaye Winford and Lana Davis; sister, Patricia Winford Andrews and husband, Frank; aunt, Rubye Wright; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
