WEATHERFORD -- James Richard "Dee" DiCapua, 79, lovingly known as "Pops" to many, passed away Sunday, April 10, 2011. Funeral: 10 a.m. Friday in White's Chapel of Memories, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford. Interment: Oakland Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. James Richard "Dee" DiCapua was born May 1, 1931, in Cleveland, Ohio, son of the late Anthony William and Ruth Leaf DiCapua. Dee married the former Marlita Collins on March 16, 1957, and they made their home in Weatherford. Dee served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was honorably discharged in 1957. He made his career as a maintenance mechanic with Stauffer Chemical for many years and then began his own company, House Doctor, which he operated for many years before retirement. Dee was preceded in death by his wife, Marlita, in 2007; his parents; and a brother, Michael DiCapua. Survivors: Son, Gary Moseley Sr.; daughters, Donna Walton and husband, Bobby, and DeAnna Pigg and husband, David; grandchildren, Gary Moseley Jr., Chris Bruton and wife, Amy, Chad Bruton and wife, Heather, Brittani Purdy and husband, Bryan, Sharee Hull, Dillon Moseley; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Ruthie Vargo; brother, Bill DiCapua; and a host of loving family and friends.
