Agnes Lorene Evans 89, passed away Friday, April 29, 2011. Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday in White's Funeral Home Chapel, 401 N. Main St., Springtown. Interment: East Greenwood Cemetery, Weatherford. Visitation: 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home. Agnes Lorene Evans was born January 26, 1922 in Weatherford to Robert Henry and Etta Louise Sosebee. She married Eddie Franklin Evans in 1937, he died November 1, 1997. Agnes was a homemaker for many years. She loved quilting and crocheting, along with her sister, Dessie Lyon, she has made and sold many handmade quilts shipping them as far away as Germany. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Evans; brothers, John, Roy, and Bob Sosebee. Survivors: sons, Loyd and wife, Marie Evans of Central Point Oregon; Jackie and wife, Wanda Evans of Springtown, Richard Evans Sr. of Springtown and William and wife, Dena Evans of Benbrook; sister, Dessie Lyon of Bossier City, LA; grandchildren, Richard Evans Jr., Tina Stogsdill, Jackie Evans, Dawn Gieger, Mary Schmitt, Sonja Steele, Collette Evans, Ginger Jones, Tim McLeod and Tammy Mongus; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
