Gerard Nelson Moshier

Gerard Nelson Moshier, 68, passed from this earthly life to his heavenly home Friday, June 17, 2011 with his loving family by his side. Funeral Service: 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, June 21 at LaJunta Baptist Church. Interment: Azleland Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 P.M. Monday, June 20 at White's Azle Funeral Home. Gerard was born June 3, 1943 in Saratoga Springs, NY. to Isaac and Elizabeth Gaylord Moshier. He was a longtime resident of Azle. Gerard was very involved with his church and an avid NASCAR fan. He dearly loved his family and his animals. Gerard honorably served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War era. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors: wife, Kay Moshier of Azle; sons, Brian Moshier and wife, Stephanie of Azle, Michael Moshier and wife, Julie of Crowley and Eric Kelley and wife, Cassie of Greenville; daughter, Julie James and husband, Justin of Okla.; grandchildren, Jordan, Sam, Megan, Michael Jr., Wade, Caden, Easten, Dexter and Grace; and a host of other family and acquaintances.
