Foley Burtnett, 56, a longtime resident of Springtown, passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2011, at home. Funeral: 10 a.m. Saturday at Hilltop Family Church, 1227 Cottondale Road, Springtown. Interment: Goshen Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Hilltop Family Church. David Foley Burtnett was born June 19, 1955, in Fort Worth, the fourth of six children to Robert L. and Ethel May Broaddus Burtnett. He was a member of the Springtown High School class of 1973. Foley married the former Sharon Caroline Clugston in Springtown on Feb. 22, 1997, and they began their life together. Foley loved hot rods and engines and could build or fix anything. He was a great person and had no enemies. Foley was a very patient and kind person and in the words of Sharon, "He was perfect." Foley was a faithful member of Hilltop Family Church. Foley was preceded in death by his father, Robert Louis Burtnett, and grandmother, Ethel May Broaddus.
