Ruth Virginia Horton, 89, passed away Friday, July 15, 2011. Services: 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 22, 2011 at White's Funeral Home in Springtown. Interment: Argyle Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 P.M. Thursday at White's Funeral Home, 401 n. Main, Springtown.Ruth was born on November 22, 1921 in Independence, Missouri, at the home of her parents, Archibald and Ann Barnby. A long time resident of Azle, Ruth was an energetic spirit who loved people and lived life with a passion. She enjoyed dancing, quilting, and watching the Dallas cowboys. Preceding Ruth in death were her parents; sister, Dorothy Page; and husband, Charles Arthur Horton. Ruth is survived by her son, Charles William Horton of Springtown; daughter, Virginia Hedrick of Richmond, MO; grandchildren, Grant Hedrick and wife Christine, Grayson Hedrick, Naomi Yuille and husband David, Saria Hedrick-Attari and husband Mourad, Adruth Shockley and husband Charles; and great-grandchildren, Nathan, Samuel, Benjamin, Rachel, Hannah, and Grayson.
