WEATHERFORD -- Doris Marie Taylor, 85, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2011, in Fort Worth. Funeral: 2 p.m. Saturday in White's Chapel of Memories, 130 Houston Avenue, Weatherford. Reverend Forrest Bass will officiate. Interment: Brock Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Doris Marie Taylor was born May 27, 1926, in Abilene, the second of three children to the late Milton Jack and Clara Mae Sproles Osborn. She was a member of North Main Church of God. Doris was preceded in death by her husbands, Andrew Billingsley Stanley and Lymon Doss Taylor; and granddaughter, Tammy Denise Stanley. Survivors: Sons, James Gaylon Stanley Sr. and wife, Kathy, of Grandview, Joe Clyde Taylor and Carey Lee Taylor, both of Weatherford; grandchildren, James "Jim" Stanley Jr. and wife, Sissy, of Alvarado, and Michele Ann Stanley Pulse; five great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of loving family and friends.
