John G. Sweetser

John G. Sweetser, 75, passed away Sunday, July 24, 2011. Graveside Service: 9:00 a.m. Friday at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, Lane A. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at White's Azle Funeral Home, 105 Denver Trail. John was born in Weir City, Kansas January 22, 1936 to the late Earl and Vivian Sweester. He honorably served his country for 22 years in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. After retiring from the military he enjoyed woodworking and created many treasures that he shared with his family and friends. Survivors: loving wife of 50 years, Willistine Sweetser; daughter, Shelly Boynton and husband, Murray of Fort Worth; son, Darrel Sweetser of Azle; grandchildren, Samantha, Brittany and Brett; brother, Ned Sweetser; and sister, Nedra Nipper.
