Vera D. Jalomo

Vera D. Jalomo, 64, loving wife, mother and grandmother, went home to be with the Lord, Monday, August 1, 2011 after battling a long illness. Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 5 at St. Paul's Catholic Church, 5508 Black Oak, River Oaks, 76114. Interment: Ash Creek Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at White's Azle Funeral Home. Vera was born September 19, 1946 in Garden City, Kan. to Joe and Dorothy Guerrero. She lived for her family and will be deeply missed. Vera was preceded in death by her grandparents; parents; and brother, Robert. Until we meet again, we love you mom. Survivors: husband of 47 years, Gene A. Jalomo of Azle; children, Joe Guerrero of Wichita, Kan., Anthony Jalomo, Virginia Walker and husband, John, Robert Jalomo, Sandra Graves and husband, Charles, and Tommie Graves and husband, Mike all of Azle; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; seven brothers all of Garden City, Kan.; and a host of loving family and friends.
