Fred "Freddy" Czarnecki, 70, passed away Monday, Aug. 8, 2011, in Springtown. Frederick Edward Czarnecki was born Oct. 26, 1940, son of the late John and Helen Wisnewski Czarnecki, in Milwaukee, Wis. Fred married the former Carol Ann Geyer in Milwaukee on June 2, 1962, and they began their life together. He made his career with Kohler and retired after 33 years of dedicated service. Fred also started the volunteer training program for the Fredonia Volunteer Fire Department, for which he was very proud. He also served the Fredonia Volunteer Fire Department as a firefighter and EMT. Additionally, Fred honorably served his country in the United States Army. Fred and Carol retired to Springtown in 2003 from Fredonia, Wis., and loved to sit on his back porch and watch his hummingbirds and purple martins. Fred was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors: Wife of 49 years, Carol Czarnecki of Springtown; daughter, Dawn Deheck of Fort Worth; sons, Dean Czarnecki and David Czarnecki and wife, Tiffany, all of Fredonia, Wis.; grandchildren, Nicholas Deheck and wife, Megan, Robert Deheck, and Katie Gnodtke; brother, John Czarnecki and wife, Carol, of East Troy, Wis.; sisters, Sylvia Woida and husband, Bob, of Fort Myers, Fla. and Jeanne Kuhn and husband, Jim, of Baltimore, Md.; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of loving friends.
