Frances Eloise Wadsworth Simmons, 81, passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2011. Memorial Service: 2:00 P.M. Saturday, August 20 in Azleland Memorial Park Chapel, Reno. Inurnment: Azleland Memorial Park.Chaplain Joel Watson will be officating. Mrs. Simmons was born in Oneonta, AL. the daughter of William and Mae Bell Wadsworth. She moved to the Fort Worth area in 1968 and lived in Joshua for the past eleven years. She was a loving and devoted homemaker, mom, grandmother, "Granny", great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother. Frances was a member of the Elm Grove Baptist Church in Azle. She was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Clyde Simmons in 1978; her parents; brothers, Early, Burnos, Ernest Wadsworth; great-grandsons, Derrick Hamilton and Daniel Matkovich. Survivors: daughter, Brenda McGill of Azle; grandson, William C. Burtram of Joshua; granddaughter, Barbara Burtram Monds and husband, Johnny of Azle; grandson, Phillp Burtram and wife, Randi of Azle; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandsons.
