Cheryl Haas Winton

FORT WORTH -- Cheryl Winton, 54, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2011, in Fort Worth. Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in White's Chapel of Memories, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford. Interment: Woodland Park Cemetery, Mineral Wells. Visitation: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Cheryl was born July 2, 1957, in Dallas, daughter of Bob and Vera Haas. After graduating from Southwest High School, she married Jack Winton in 1976 and moved to Aledo. She was a member of Aledo United Methodist Church and sang in the choir. She co-owned and operated multiple restaurants for 20 years. As a devoted mother she supported her two sons and friends in various sports activities, mission trips, and educational programs. Survivors: Husband, Jack Winton; sons, Justin Winton and Lance Winton; parents, Bob and Vera Haas; brothers, Bob Haas and wife, Karyn, and Rob Haas and wife, Wendy; three nieces and nephews; and a host of loving friends.
