Greta Fay Loomis

Fay Loomis, 96, passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2011. Graveside service: 1:00 p.m. Friday at Community Greenwood Cemetery, Weatherford. Visitation: 8 to 11:30 a.m., Friday at White's Funeral Home. Fay was born June 3, 1915 daughter of William L. and Cora Pearce Hoglan in Yell County, Arkansas. She was a long time resident of Parker County. Mrs. Loomis was an excellent carpenter and enjoyed gardening, crafts and quilting. For many years she also enjoyed teaching her Sunday School Class. Fay was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ned Frank and one grandson. Survivors include daughters, Doris Jennings and husband Derrell of Weatherford, Janetta Loomis of Gustine; son, Ned F. Loomis, Jr. of Granbury; sisters, Mozelle, Velma and Charlene; brothers, Ed and Fred; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
