Lily Belle Viering, our precious angel, passed away Sunday, Jan. 8, 2012, in Fort Worth. Service: Private. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at White's Funeral Home. Lily Belle Viering was born Sept. 6, 2011, in Fort Worth, daughter of Brett Anthony Mullen and Briar Arissa Viering."I know that you're playing with the other CMV children and all of us CMV moms and I can't wait to see you all in Heaven. Your Dad and I will always remember you and love you." Love, Mommy The Lily and The Rose "Every rose has its thorns," many people say. And if one is pricked, blood is what they pay. Within the garden of God's creation a red rose blooms. Blossoming with beauty and with thorns it dooms. As this rose grows continuously over time. It commits its own sins and creates its own crime. But God, being a great Father, urges her to grow. To let go of such sins, so she won't experience sorrow. The rose being so young, thinks she knows best. She continues on with her habits, just like the rest. God bestows upon her one special little lesson. One in which will need to be handled with one last confession. The rose, though she is young, is blessed with a child. What is seen as an accident, was meant to be all the while. The rose's way of heart changes and begins to fully bloom. The responsibility of motherhood, she must now assume. But this child is not what she expects, not a rose at all. In fact she's even more special, a lily ever so small. Just as Jesus Christ is God's Lily of the Valley. The Lily is the Rose's most perfect melody. The rose watches each day as her Lily grows from its seed. It blossoms and blooms so beautifully and fulfills the Rose's need. The Rose, now a mother, grows the most she ever had. Even in such a short time, even without the dad. The Rose never thought she could love someone so much. For when that Lily was finally born, all she longed for was her touch. No one truly understood how a Lily could come from a Rose. The Rose never thought to ask, for she accepted it as God chose. The Rose still was not done growing, for she had much to learn. The Lily would teach her so much more, every day that she yearned. And as the Lily grew old enough to take care of herself. Her mother, the Rose, learning so much, and being blessed with such health. Finally began to let her petals fall and her thorns dim. Living her life with God, and learning the lesson from him. Her only hope was that her Lily learned the same from her. That she listened to these final words of her Mother: "Never put God second in life, or third, or fourth, or fifth. If you think he'll be just as close to you, then you must believe a myth. When in a relationship always love him first. For he gave his only son, so we would no longer thirst. God loves you unconditionally and I love you, too. Please learn from me, as I have learned from you." The Rose, having learned her lesson, let her last petal fall.
