Cecil Lee Pickett Sr., 81, loving father, brother and friend, passed away Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013.Graveside service: 11 a.m. Monday in Azleland Memorial Park. Visitation: 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at White's Azle Funeral Home. Cecil was born Sept. 27, 1931, to Andrew and Mary Pickett in Clairette. He was a longtime resident of Azle. Cecil honorably served his country in the United States Army. He was an avid sportsman and loved hunting, fishing, gardening and woodworking. Cecil was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Alma Jo; daughter, Kimberly; and two sisters. Survivors: Sons, Cecil Pickett Jr. of Weatherford, David Pickett and wife, Dusty, of Fort Worth and Perry Pickett and wife, Jackie, of Argyle; daughter, Cindy Logan and husband, James, of Fort Worth; special son, Jerry Miller; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; sisters, Jean Barnard and Roxie Kirbie and husband, Leroy; brothers, A.J. Pickett and wife, Cheryl, and Donald Pickett and wife, Laquetta; and a host of loving family and friends.
