WEATHERFORD -- Wade "Skip" Boyles Jr., 52, passed away Monday, Nov. 3, 2014, in Weatherford. Memorial service: 3 p.m. Saturday in White's Chapel of Memories, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford. Memorials: In lieu of usual remembrances, the Boyles family suggests consideration of contributions in Skip's memory to the Weatherford Public Library, 1014 Charles St., Weatherford, Texas 76086. Wade Anthony "Skip" Boyles Jr. was born March 1, 1962, in Asheville, N.C., son of Wade Anthony Boyles Sr. and Betty Ann Ray. He graduated with the class of 1980 from Weatherford High School, where he played football for the Kangaroos, and made his career as a certified plumber. Skip had many loves and hobbies in his life and at the top of the list was fishing. In fact, he loved the outdoors whether it was hunting, fishing, water skiing, or arrowhead hunting. Skip also loved the Dallas Cowboys. He was fun-loving and well liked and had a heart of gold. Skip rooted for the underdog and had a servant's heart. Skip was preceded in death by a son, Robert Lee Boyles in 1987; step-father, Dr. Dennie Richardson; and aunt, Cathy White. Survivors: Sons, Nicholas Anthony Boyles and wife, Rachel, of Weatherford and Steven Wade Boyles of Arlington; grandchildren, Ava Boyles, Michaela Boyles, and Travis Wade Anthony Boyles; mother, Betty Ann Richardson of Weatherford; father, Wade Boyles Sr. and wife, Wanda, of Weatherford; brother, David Michael Boyles and wife, Tanya, of Possum Kingdom; sister, Melinda Maray Boyles Overstreet and husband, Kaj, of Sunray; step-brother, Steve Richardson of Round Rock; step-sisters, Teresa Kiser of Weatherford and Sherri Richardson of Kansas; niece and nephews, Kyla, Mason and Morgan Overstreet, and Joshua Boyles; aunt, Dora Belew of Weatherford; and girlfriend, Kelli Rowe of Weatherford; and a host of loving friends.White's Funeral HomeWeatherford, 817-596-4811
