Austin Odell West

ARLINGTON -- Austin Odell West, 75, beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother, passed away Sunday, April 6, 2014.Funeral: 2 p.m. Wednesday in White's Chapel of Memories, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford.Interment: Memory Gardens of the Valley.Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.Memorials: In lieu of the usual remembrances the family suggests donations in Odell's memory to the American Cancer Society.Odell West was born Oct. 21, 1938, to the late Horace A. West and Dorothy Juanita "Nita" Dugan West in Haskell. He graduated from Weatherford High School in 1957. Odell married Kasina Kim Chieng on June 17, 2006, in Fort Worth. He was the owner of Bar-W Meat Co. in Fort Worth. Odell was a member of the Arlington Area Street Rodders Association and Buick Street Rodders Association.He was preceded in death by his parents; sister-in-law, Carol West; and daughter, Wendy West.Survivors: Wife, Kasina West of Arlington; children, Tony West of Garland, Bryan West of Denver, Colo., Mark West and wife, Maiko, of Lahaina, Hawaii, Zac West of San Marcos, Sara West and fiance, George Mason, of Oklahoma City, Okla., and John West of Arlington; grandchildren, Milo West, Hugo West and Clint West; sisters, Mona Tidrow and husband, Ronald, of Breckenridge and Toni Masterson and husband, Donald, of Mineral Wells; and brother, Robert West of Springtown.White's Funeral HomeWeatherford, 817-596-4811
