Ermalinda Christina Varney

GRAND PRAIRIE -- "But those who hope in the Lord will regain their strength, they will soar on wings like eagles, they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and never tire." Isaiah 40:31. Linda Baker-Varney joyously answered the call of our Lord on April 16, 2013. Born in Altoona, PA on October 23rd, 1943 as Ermalinda Christina DeVincens, she was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who touched the hearts of all who knew her with her generous and warm heart and smile. Linda's strength, courage, love, and unwavering faith are a true inspiration. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Americo and Mary DeVincens; and her nephew, John DeVincens, Junior. She is survived by her husband, Paul; her son, Steven Baker and his wife, Melinda; and grandchildren, Dalton and Kamryn; daughter, Carla Baker-Kunkle and her husband, Tom; son, Scott Baker and his wife, Anna; and grandchildren, Joseph and Cecilia; brother, John DeVincens and his wife, Kathy; nieces, Jill and Chrissy; and nephew, Doug.
