Ronnie Trantham, 68, a resident of Springtown for 37 years, was called home by Jesus on Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013, in Springtown. Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday in White's Funeral Chapel in Springtown. Interment: Springtown Cemetery. Visitation: 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Ronnie Edward Trantham was born Aug. 28, 1944, in Cairo, Ill. He was a cutting horse trainer for more than 50 years as well as a farrier, shoeing horses all over the country for 40 years. On Jan. 12, 1974, he married the love of his life, the former Sandra Kathryn Coe. Ronnie received Jesus as Savior and Lord of his life four weeks ago and was a member of Hilltop Family Church. Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents; and his mother-in-law who loved him very much, Margaret Coe. Survivors: Wife of 39 years, Sandra Trantham of Springtown; daughter, Kimberly White and husband, Stephen, of Fort Worth; grandson, Michael White; brother-in-law, Kenneth Coe and family; his horse, Bingo; and a host of loving friends and church family.
