James "Bob" Robert Land

ALEDO -- James "Bob" Land, 76, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and friend, passed away Sunday, Feb. 8, 2015. Funeral: 10 a.m. Saturday in White's Chapel of Memories, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford. Interment: Ash Creek Cemetery, 300 Stewart St., Azle. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at White's Funeral Home, Weatherford. James Robert "Bob" Land was born Aug. 5, 1938, son of James and Golda Land, in Bessmer, Ala. He met and married the love of his life, Twylla D'Ann Johnson. Bob was a wonderful husband and father and he was loved by everyone who knew him. Bob was the owner and operator of B&L Interior for many years until he passed away. He loved assisting Southcliff Baptist Church. Bob loved fishing and was an avid Texas Rangers baseball fan. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Golda Land; son, Rickey Willeford; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Survivors: Wife of 38 years, Twylla Land; children, Kris Rogers and husband, Matt, Staci Land and Randy Willeford and wife, Sheila; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; many terrific nieces and nephews; and a host of other loving family members and friends.
