Gerald F. Trunk, 73, loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2015, after a long and brave battle with cancer.
Memorial service: 9 a.m. Saturday at White's Azle Funeral Home.
Gerald was born in Chicago, Ill., to the late Earl and Eileen Trunk. He honorably served his country in the United States Air Force, retiring in 1982. Gerald sacrificed and toiled his entire life to create for his family and will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
Survivors: Wife of 50 years, Sharon Trunk of Azle; daughters, Lori Knupp of Marrietta, Ga.; son, Kevin Trzell and wife, Erin, of Hampton, Va.; daughters, Melisa Schultz and husband, Robert, of Azle, Dr. Chelle Trunk Jacob and husband, Mark, of Azle, Charleen Lewis of Red Oak, and Dr. Christine Ohmer and husband, Dr. Merlin Ohmer, of Mayport, Fla.; brothers, Dan Trunk and Patrick Trunk; 12 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and many more family and friends.
