Robin Oosterhout

Robin Oosterhout, age 81, of Weatherford, Texas passed away at her home on Thursday morning, February 26, 2015. She was born Darlene Mozelle to Edith and Erasmus Robbins on July 9, 1933. She was an active member of Grace First Presbyterian Church, volunteered at the Weatherford Public Library, and was an avid reader. Robin embodied the pioneer spirit and love of history, especially of her home state of Texas. She was preceded in death by her mother, Edith Mozelle Knight and stepfather, Jack Knight. Robin is survived by her husband, Kenneth Oosterhout; son, Tim Oosterhout and wife Rebecca; daughters Kristin Oxner and husband Mark, Roxan Vandivort and husband, Kirk; brother Luther “Robbie” Robbins; granddaughters Hannah, Elizabeth, Abigail, Esther, Evelyn, Josephine, and Margret. Visitation will be held Monday, March 2, 2015 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at White's Funeral Home in Weatherford. Memorial services will be held Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Grace First Presbyterian Church in Weatherford. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Weatherford Public Library.
